Seared Salmon With Herbs And Spices

This Seared Salmon is so quick and so easy! Truth be told, this recipe only works well with high quality Wixter Norwegian Salmon because the flavor shines beautifully! If there were a Nobel Prize for recipes, this would win hands down. 


1 tsp. Parsley, minced
1 tsp. Oregano, minced
1 tsp. Rosemary, minced
¼ tsp. Coriander, powdered
1 Garlic clove, minced
2 T Olive oil
1 Salmon fillet
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges garnish


STEP 1: Heat a cast-iron skillet to medium-high heat.
STEP 2: Mix the herbs, coriander, garlic, and olive oil together.
STEP 3: Baste the salmon with the herb-garlic-oil mix, and season with salt and pepper.
STEP 4: Once the pan is hot, place the salmon in and do not move it for 2 minutes.
STEP 5: Gently loosen the salmon, flip, and continue cooking for 2 more minutes.
STEP 6: Remove and plate if you like your salmon rare in the middle. Continue cooking for  an additional 1-2 minutes if you prefer your salmon cooked all the way through.
STEP 7: Garnish with lemon wedges and enjoy!
